Director's Notes SUMMER 2011 Summer time is here again and the pools are open at no charge to the public. We keep certified lifeguards on duty at all times so feel free to enjoy the pools to cool off this summer. Pools close August 12th. The Pinederosa Park improvements are also complete and we hope that the community will continue to enjoy the new surface on the walking track and the New Open Air Pavilion in the Park. You will also notice the construction of the new Splash Park being built in the Park area. We hope to have this project complete and open by the first week of August. Special thanks to our Police Juror, Hal McMillin, and to the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury for their help with some of the funding for this project. It will be a great addition to Pinederosa Park and I am sure the kids will love it. As always the Multi Purpose Complex continues to offer an indoor alternative to exercise and we encourage all of our residents to utilize this beautiful facility. Please remember that all of the children are out of school so please drive carefully. There are several programs and events planned for the next few months so please make note of registration dates and times that are listed in the flyer.
